Content from BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is now available though a new App enabling users to keep up to date with the latest research in obstetrics and gynaecology.
The App, launched by the RCOG’s publishing partner, Wiley, has a number of features including the ability to download articles to view offline, full screen figure and table viewer and the option to save favourite articles for quick and easy access.
The latest journal articles are available before inclusion in an issue on Early View and users can be notified of when a new monthly issue is available.
A wide range of free content is available via the new App including open access papers, Editor’s pick of the month, and the monthly Editor’s Choice. The annual themed issue is also free from January to March.
BJOG is a leading journal in obstetrics and gynaecology, owned by the RCOG. It publishes original, peer-reviewed work in all areas of obstetrics and gynaecology, including contraception, urogynaecology, fertility, oncology and clinical practice. Moreover, the journal offers a mix of systematic reviews, RCTs and original research, expert commentaries and women’s health updates.
Professor Khalid Khan, BJOG Editor-in-Chief, says:
“I am delighted with this new product as it allows BJOG’s busy readers to keep up to date with our most current content anytime, anywhere. We are constantly working hard to ensure that BJOG delivers what our readers and authors need, and this is an additional, useful way to enjoy the journal.’
The new App is available for the iPad.
Fellows and members of the RCOG can access all content on the app as part of the RCOG membership benefits using a unique access code.
For non-members, full access to BJOG content via the app is now included in a subscription (personal or institutional) to the journal. Full information is available on how to gain full access with an existing subscription.
