Call for Papers: 2014 Themed IssuePublished on 12/14/12
Are you currently conducting research in relation to
C-section scar or managing the effects of previous caesarean section on subsequent pregnancy?
BJOG is now accepting papers for the next themed issue titled 'Management of pregnancy following caesarean section'.
This issue will be published in January 2014 and will be edited by Amarnath Bhide and Eric Jauniaux together with guest editors Jose Cecatti (Brazil) and Robert Silver (USA).
We are interested in receiving original research articles and systematic reviews on all aspects of the effects of caesarean section, including:
- basic science
- classical and genetic epidemiology
- emerging clinical challenges
- interventional trials.
BJOG can communicate and disseminate your results widely and rapidly to the international community.
Historically, papers published in a BJOG themed issue:
• Have a 50% higher citation rate
• Are freely available to view and download for the first 3 months
• Are disseminated with other top authors in the field, worldwide
Publication of papers is not delayed until 2014. As soon as they are ready, they are published online first and on PubMed. Papers will be subject to the same peer review process, maintaining BJOG’s high scientific and editorial standard.
Manuscripts should be submitted by 30th April 2013, online. Include your interest in the themed issue in your covering letter and in the online submission form.
